To end the term on a high we are having a Rainbow Day, on Friday 23rd October, where children can dress up in bright and colourful outfits and enjoy a day of fun arts and craft activities! 

THIS WEEK'S LEARNING 

 

English:

This week we will continuing our work based on the book Naughty Bus by Jan and Jerry Oke. Children will be thinking about 

 

Phonics:

This week recapping the sounds: ar, or, ur and ow (Phase 3 Letters and Sounds). Below are some useful links for each sound.

Maths:

In maths we will be continuing to use part whole models to split a whole number into two parts. We will also be looking at the addition symbol and finding fact families (addition facts). 

 

Big Picture:

We will be looking at how we have changed as we have grown up. Children will also draw a portrait of a class peer.
