Applying for a place at school can be a little confusing and we hope this page will be of help.

Children are admitted to our Reception Class during the school year of their fifth birthday. The school year runs from the 1st September to 31st August of the following year. If you would like a tour, an application form or more information, please contact the school office on 020 8940 7911.

We admit 30 children into our Reception class each year. For entry in September 2025, applications must be returned to the local authority by 15th January 2025. 

Other points of entry

There are three other phases for admissions:

• Entry to our afternoon playgroup provision called Acorns, for children who are 2 - 4 years old
• Entry to our Nursery Class for children who have turned 3 years old by the start of the academic year in September. We also offer extended sessions to our Nursery children for the full school day. 
• In year admissions from children once they have started statutory school either elsewhere in the UK or from abroad.

If you are applying for a school place under criteria 4 or 5 please complete the supplementary form along with your main application. 

School Admissions Policy & Criteria

Where there are more than 30 applications, places will be allocated in accordance with the school's admissions criteria: 

1. Looked after and previously looked after children

2. Children with an exceptional and professionally supported medical or social need

3. Siblings

4. Regular attendance at St Richard’s, St Andrew’s or St Peter’s churches

5. Regular attendance at another place of Christian worship

6. Distance
