Please note that due to impact of the Covid-19 pandemic there were no statutory assessments in primary schools in 2019/20 or 2020/21. In the academic year 2021/22 Year 6 children did sit statutory tests but the Department for Education decided not to publish the data and issued the following message:
The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
The Department for Education recommends:
Percentage achieving expected standard or above in each subject
St Richard's | National | Difference | |
Reading | 87 | 73 | +14 |
Writing | 58 | 71 | -13 |
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling | 74 | 72 | +2 |

Despite the challenges our 2021/22 Year 6 group faced during the pandemic we were delighted with their outcomes, which exceeded National attainment in all areas.
