THIS WEEK'S LEARNING 

English:

This week we will be rewriting the story of Leon and the Place Between by Angela McAllister. We will start by planning our writing on a storyboard, then writing one section each day.

Maths:

In maths we will be continuing our addition and subtraction unit. First, we will learn to subtract tens from 3-digit numbers, then we will be adding and subtracting 2 and 3-digit numbers using the column method.

Big Picture:

We will be staring our computing topic. We will be learning about how to stay safe online and why it is important. We will also be exploring Google Classrooms, as this is where Home Learning will be set from next term.

RE:

We will be thinking about how faith in the Bible has inspired Christians to spread the 'Good News', and how and why words and stories from biblical times have been passed down to us today.

Science:

In Science we will be learning about the life of famous fossil collector and palaeontologist, Mary Anning.
