IT IS THE LAST WEEK OF TERM!
I'm not quiet sure that I can believe how quickly the year has gone, and it is certainly the most unusual year I have had in my 20 years of teaching, but it has been an absolute pleasure ending the school year with your children!
This week we will be (hopefully) enjoying the sunshine with a lot of outdoors learning and the second part of our sports day as well as continuing the superhero theme.
This week I will upload some Awe and Wonder activities for the children and some activities related to the year 1 curriculum for them to access the days that they are not in school keeping them practical as the Summer Term comes to an end.
THINK AND WRITE
Use the images and the suggestions for the sentences to write a piece of descriptive writing about the images.
MATHS GAMES
Sit down together and practise your maths skills with these board games> If you don't have a dice, rememeber you could make one from a cardboard box or use the template below.
AWE AND WONDER!
WHO WAS KANDINSKY?
Look through the fact file to find out more about him. After that look through the presentation to find out more about Primary and Secondary colours and use this information to recreate Kandinsky's circle artwork.
