- The Birthday Gift that Keeps on Giving
We are pleased to announce the launch of the St Richard’s School Birthday Book list.
If your child would like to celebrate their birthday in a special and lasting way, they could chose to buy a book for their class or for the library. The teachers (and children) have chosen a wonderful selection of books which they’d be delighted to receive. Of course, Christmas book gifts would be gratefully accepted too!
When the book comes to school, we will put a dedication sticker in the front, so that in the future, children will be able to remember who gave the book. Your child can present the book to their class (or library).
It’s very easy to take part (and handy at the moment when shopping is restricted). You can share the link with family members too, if you’d like to.
The list is being held online by the Alligator’s Mouth bookshop - click on the link below. It’s divided up into classes, so it’s easy to find the books your child’s class have requested. Very importantly, in the notes section of the order form, please add the child’s name - so we know who to name on the dedication sticker.
Delivery is free if you click on the option ‘collect from the shop’ and they will deliver the books directly to school. Delivery times will vary a bit – especially in current restrictions – so books aren’t likely to arrive exactly on a child’s birthday.
