THIS WEEK'S LEARNING 

 

English:

This week we will be reading Leon and the Place Between by Angela McAllister. We will be describing a circus using our 5 senses expanded noun phrases.

 

Maths:

In maths we will be continuing to work on addition and subtraction. We will be starting the week by subtracting 1s from a 3-digit number (with borrowing tens), and then moving onto adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers and 2-digit numbers.

 

Big Picture:

We will be looking at what life was like in the Iron Age, before finishing our topic with a quiz.

 

RE:

We will be thinking about what makes a 'person of faith' in the Bible.

 

Science:

In Science we will be investigating why the dinosaurs went extinct.
