Welcome to week two of home learning!
We hope that you and your family have had a restful weekend, and have been out for a walk. Did you see any rainbows while you were out?
In school we have done some classroom workouts with Joe Wicks.
Remember every morning he is doing a PE lesson for the children, join in by following him at 9.30 on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz0go1pTda8
We have been practising counting objects and looking quickly to see how many are in a group, this is called subitising. Click on the link below to watch a video, race to see if you can beat the video.
The flowers are beginning to grow and animals are being born. Can you draw a picture of some farm animals, such as a pig, duck, sheep and cow. What are the names for these animals' babies?
Can you write a simple sentence describing an activity you have done, or where you went for your daily exercise this weekend.
Remember to have a capital letter at the beginning, finger spaces between words and a full stop at the end.
Phonics are key in helping children to learn to read and write. Watch Ruth Miskin's speed sound tutorials with your child starting with set one and set two.
This will help them to keep their phonics knowledge fresh and up to date!
Here is a link to Phonics Play, this website has great phonics games.
Have a go at 'Pick a Picture'. How many can you get right?
Challenge of the day:
Have a go at typing:
It’s a big challenge but have a go and let us know how you get on.
Please email me any documents or photos you would like me to see.

Why did the student eat his homework?
Because the teacher told him it was a piece of cake!
