Admissions to Reception 

Children born between 1^st September 2019 and 31^st August 2020 are eligible to start primary school in September 2024. The deadline for applications is 15th January 2024. You will be notified of the outcome on Tuesday 16th April 2024.

Applying for a Primary School place

Applications should be made online through eAdmissions. 

All parents of children currently attending St Richard's Nursery must submit an application as the children do not automatically transfer to our Reception class. 

Key Dates

2023

Friday1st September    Online applications are open via eAdmissions.

2024

Sunday 15th January     Closing date for all applications

Tuesday 16th April         Online applications will be sent an email during the evening informing                                     them of the result of their application. Letters are posted first class for                                     paper applications.

Tuesday 30 April            Date by which parents must ACCEPT or DECLINE the offer.

June 2024                     Further offers made from this date subject to places available.

Accepting a Reception place

On the evening of 16th April 2024, you will be sent an email advising you of the result of your application. After you receive this email, you will be able to log on and view your application result online, and accept or decline your offer of a school place online.

If you have applied online and you have not been offered your first preference school, you will also receive a letter with detailed information about the result of your application and what to do next.

Late Applications

Applications received after the closing date will only be considered after all applications received by the closing date.
