This week's Traditional Tale is Little Red Riding Hood. Listen and watch Jo read the story and try some of the activities. You can also watch the ebook version.

ACTIVITY 1 - DRAW A PICTURE

Draw a picture of Little Red Riding hood or The Big Bag Wolf. Describe what they look like to your family....how big are they? What they are wearing? What do they like to do? 

 

ACTIVITY 2 - WHO AM I?

Choose a character from the book. Describe them to some one in your family. Can they guess who you are?

 

ACTIVITY 3 - BINGO OR MEMORY GAME

Use the printable sheets to either play a matching bingo game or a memory game.

 

ACTIVITY 4 - PICNIC TIME

Make a picnic and share it with your family. if you have a garden, eat your picnic in the sunshine. If you don't have a garden you could have a lounge room picnic or even a bedroom picnic! You could even make a pretend picnic and share it with your teddies! You can even cut out and make a picnic basket.

ACTIVITY 5 - TELL THE STORY

Use the cone characters to retell the story.

ACTIVITY 6 - BAKING

You could bake come delicious treats such as biscuits or muffins to go into your picnic basket!
