Hi guys,heart

I hope you are all ok,

Have any of you tried any of your grid of Kindness Activities?

It’s Mental Health Awareness week this week. Have a try at some of them, I think you will be surprised how much better it will make you feel, I think the first one I need to do for myself, is to have a good night sleep! I’ll try that one tonight!

We received some lovely muffins at work today so I know someone else has tried an act of kindness by baking something and leaving it outside of school (keeping a safe distance of course!)

Thank you so much for thinking of us…they were yummy!

A special Music task for today:

Creative – Music

Watch this video below – a really fun action song!

Explore - All you need for this is a few sheets of scrap paper and some creative thinking...

Thinking about ... volume

What is the loudest sound you can make with just paper?

What is the quietest sound you can too?

Can you make a sound that goes from loud to quiet? Or quiet to loud?

Thinking about ... nature

Can you make a sound like a snake slithering in the grass?

Can you make a sound like raindrops landing on the roof?

Can you make a sound like wind in the trees?

Thinking about ... how did you make the sounds?

Did you use one or more sheets of paper?

What did you do to make the sounds?

I am in school today, so please bear with me with responses to emails and uploading photos.

Missing you all lots, if you need any help just send me an email!

Wishing you all a positive day today.

Mrs Wagner

Joke of the day!

Q: What time is it when the clock strikes 13?
A: Time to get a new clock.

Update you diary for today.

Today could you include something you're looking forward to doing in the future?

What are you looking forward to doing at the weekend?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Remember to use the future tense when writing about things that haven't happened yet!

Comprehension Complete the ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ reading comprehension I have chosen for you.

This lesson includes:

  • one video
  • two activities

You can also try White Rose Maths:

Extra Tasks:

Let your imagination go WILD and create a new animal!

1. Draw or make your animal and give it a name.

Maybe it will have the head of a lion, the neck of a giraffe and the body of an elephant.

2. Create a fact file about your animal including;

What does it look like?

Where does it live?

What does it eat?

What skills does your animal have?

What does your animal need to survive?

Think of any other information you might need to include!

You could present this as a written fact file or maybe you could become a wildlife TV presenter and record a video!
