Class Information - Timetable
We start out day heading straight to play! Once we are all in, we have a short focused learning time either as a whole class or in a group. This usually takes place through story, song or with the help of our class puppet Chloe.
We then spend the morning playing with our friends, guiding our own learning and using all the resources around us. We move freely between the inside and outside area as well as the Lime Tree Garden.
We love to be outside...which also means we love to get messy! We never stop playing, smiling and exploring. We are constantly talking, investigating and creating. Most importantly we are always achieving our best!
We will also stop in the morning for more fun! Once a week we will cook and on another day we will go to the hall for either a music and movement session or to use the big apparatus. On the other days we stop after fruit time to choose an activity we would like to take part in with an adult such as story time, song time, music time or time to talk.
Before the end of the morning session we come together as a class or in groups again for some more focused learning. Then it is time to head home or some of us stay for lunch and join our Acorns playgroup.
