Week 9 - Week beginning 01/06

World Bicyle Day and World Environment Day!

This Wedesday (3rd June) is World Bicycle Day, and it just so happens, that this Friday (5th June) is World Environment Day! I thought it would be wonderful if you could go on a bike ride somewhere naturally beautiful this week. You could cycle along the river, or to a local park. If you don't have a bike, don't worry! You can still go on a wondeful walk to appreciate nature and our fantastic local environment.

Before the halfterm, we investigated filtering, dissolving and evaporating. These were reversible changes, as you were able to seperate the liquids from the solids again.

Today, I'd like you to explore irreversable changes. These is a change that you can't change back, or undo.

Watch the video, then have a go at the sorting activity below.
