Do you remember our wonderful map in the classroom that shows where we're all from in the world?
I thought it would be really interesting if we all did a project focusing on a country in the world. It could be a country related to your family history, but it doesn't have to be.
I chose the country Austria.
You can be as creative as you like and can present the information in any way, but to help I have included a blank version of mine. You could also include a family tree.
I have completely stolen this idea from Amil, who has been learning about his heritage - thanks Amil!

Harry Potter at Home
I have just discovered this super cool Harry Potter website where celebrities are reading aloud the first Harry Potter book, one chapter at a time for. The latest chapter is read by David Tennant and David Beckham! I thought you might enjoy listening to them over the week. Maybe you could read along with them if you have the book!
There are also lots of Harry Potter quizzes on the website, which you might enjoy if you know the books.
